Depicting everyday life in Italy through the lens of an outsider using a frame within the frame of the photo. Many great archways, grand doors to churches, or garden gates have become an entrance to a new space, a door between public versus private, an inception of knowledge, and a gateway through time. These magnificent thresholds become mundane in a field of many, as a slideshow of seemingly never ending doorways represents. In combination with this slideshow of infinite doorways, a series of photos depict the more intimate hidden beauty in Italy, symbolic of where all of these doors lead.
